1284 founder George Oliver Chart.PR MCIPR CMgr MCMI has been awarded Chartered PR Practitioner status by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Chartered PR is the highest status that can be achieved in the profession. It means that George is one of only 37 practitioners in the Midlands to hold Chartered status. There are fewer than 500 chartered PR practitioners in the UK.

The award comes after an assessment day in March 2022 in which a great group of PR professionals discussed strategy, leadership and ethics in communications.

In 2021, George completed the CIPR’s Level 7 Diploma in Public Affairs, finishing with a theoretical strategy of how East Midlands Business organisations might respond to the Levelling Up White Paper.

In the same year, he was awarded CMI Chartered Manager status. It recognises managers with exceptional management and leadership skills and commitment to continuing professional development.

Chartered Manager also demonstrates a professional approach that delivers measurable impact.

It came after George completed two Level 7 diplomas with the CMI in 2021:

George also has:

  • Level 6 National Qualification in Journalism (National Council for the Training of Journalists)
  • Level 4 Diploma in Journalism (National Council for the Training of Journalists)
  • Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing)
