How 1284 campaign delivered 33% CRM lead conversion

Menphys is an award-winning charity in Leicestershire. Its vision is a future of equal choices and opportunities for disabled children and young people.
It provides social and sports activities, careers support to children and advisory and advocacy services to families.
1284 Communications has worked closely with the Menphys SLT over several years.

1284 provided consultancy relating to communication of change and organisational innovation during a challenging period for the charity.
We have prepared impact reports, corporate fundraising collateral and aided with staff development and automation initiatives to boost grant income.
1284 also supported communication activity around new leadership, assisted in the development of fundraising strategy and told the story of the charity’s impact.
This included helping Menphys secure a £10,000 grant from East Midlands Railway’s Community Fund, enabling the charity to expand vital support and activities for children with SEND and their families.
1284 Account Director, Amy Orton, went on to become a trustee for the charity in October 2025.
Since then she has advised on strategic projects and successfully supported on comms around Menphys nurseries which had been threatened with closure.
Amy also hosted after dinner interviews at the charity’s hugely popular B2B members group Menphys Sports Club.
