1284 joins more than 45 professional bodies in celebrating Chartered Week - highlighting the value of Chartered status and the trusted professionals who hold it.
Managing Director George Oliver contributed to a regional campaign led by CIPR Midlands.
Chartered Week is led by members of the Chartered Alliance, focuses on Celebrating Trusted Professionals and the role Chartership plays in raising standards of competence and ethics across different sectors.
Chartered PR Practitioner is the highest professional status in public relations and is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).
1284 founder and managing director George Oliver and account director Amy Orton both hold Chartered PR status, placing them among a relatively small group of senior practitioners recognised for their experience, strategic capability and commitment to ethical practice. Fewer than 1,000 PR professionals in the UK currently hold CIPR Chartership.
To keep their status, George and Amy must demonstrate ongoing continuing professional development (CPD) and pass an annual renewal process run by the CIPR.
Research for the Institute shows that 71% of the public say they place more trust in a Chartered professional - underlining why the accreditation matters when organisations are deciding whose advice to follow on reputation, media and stakeholder engagement.
