Tewkesbury Borough Business Voice

Re-launching a brand to attract and engage businesses

SITUATION.

The Growth Hub Tewkesbury on behalf of Tewkesbury Borough Council needed to renew interest in its dormant business network - Tewkesbury Borough Business Voice.

Although established, the network hadn’t met or engaged with businesses for more than a year.

INTERVENTION.

1284 Communications helped reinvigorate the brand.

The next step was to clearly communicate the benefits of TBBV to businesses, driving sign-ups for a relaunch event.

Deliverables included:

  • Crafting new vision, mission and values,
  • Commissioning logo work
  • LinkedIn page launch
  • Social media plan and content
  • Building up the membership

More than 30 businesses attended and committed to attending again.

After a successful relaunch, 1284 Communications was commissioned to organise and communicate a series of events over the course of 2025/26.

So far, three events have been delivered, at host venues across the borough including 270 Climbing Park and Sherdon’s Golf Centre.

Each has attracted 45+ sign-ups and more than 50 businesses are registered for the fourth event.

Over the last 12 months, the network has grown to have a healthy and engaged membership, whilst also attracting new businesses.
