Create Leicester and 1284 Communications teamed again to host their second inter-agency Christmas charity quiz.
The sold-out festive fundraiser last night at LCB Depot saw a group of Leicester’s leading agencies come together to raise more than £1,500 for CharityLink and Pedestrian.
Agencies including De Montfort University, Bulb Studios, Herdl, Institute, Effect Digital and others - joined 1284 for a general knowledge quiz night packed with friendly rivalry, festive outfits, and a winner’s prize.
Hosted by Quizmaster David Southworth, the evening featured seasonal food from Gray’s, plenty of Christmas jumpers, and the kind of good‑natured competition that helps agencies strengthen relationships while giving back locally.
1284 Managing Director George Oliver said: “As Chair of Charity Link, it was fantastic to see Leicester’s agencies getting behind this event again.
“The support from the Create Leicester network shows how our creative community can come together to have fun, build relationships and make a real difference for local people who need help.”
Jim Willis, Co-founder of Create Leicester and Director at Bulb Studios, added: “It was excellent to partner with 1284 again to bring an expanded Christmas quiz to LCB Depot after last year’s quiz sold out too.
“Leicester’s digital and creative scene is full of talented, community‑minded people, and this year’s event was a brilliant example of how we can celebrate that while raising vital funds for two charities doing incredible work across the city and county.”
The lucky winners of this year's quiz were the team from Cite marketing agency based in Leicester's Friar Lane.
