1284 Communications has strengthened its support for Leicester Riders - by becoming a court floor sponsor at the SBL club’s Mattioli Arena.

The Loughborough communications strategy agency will also resume its backing of 6’8” Riders forward Victor Ndoukou for a third consecutive season.

The company logo has been installed on the first team court floor - placing 1284 at the centre of every Riders home game throughout the 2026/27 campaign.

In previous years, 1284 branding has been on the court hoardings and in hospitality at the 1967 Club. But this season will see the company's branding feature on the floor during Leicester Riders fixtures, as well as in match photography, video and wider club content.

The partnership will support Leicester Riders’ work on delivering professional basketball, developing the next generation of academy players, and giving supporters of all ages the chance to experience the sport at the UK’s highest level.

Ndoukou has been an important part of the Riders squad during the past two seasons, contributing to the club’s Playoff push while bringing energy and commitment to the court.

1284 also worked with Riders over the summer to create a news sponsorship pack to show businesses the benefits of partnering with the club.
