1284 Communications is the official beermat sponsor for Wooden Spoon Leicester’s Oktoberfest 2025.

The sold-out annual fundraiser sees Leicestershire and Rutland business leaders come together to support the children’s charity of rugby, which funds life-changing projects for children with disabilities or facing disadvantage.

Oktoberfest returns to Leicester Racecourse and will transform the Nelson Suite into a German Biergarten featuring traditional Bavarian food, plenty of German beer, and live entertainment.

Last year’s fundraiser saw more than £10,000 raised for disadvantaged children and young adults in the county.

Money is raised through local businesses who contribute towards the event’s costs including the entertainment, drinks reception and the Bavarian hats worn by guests.

The beer mats sponsored by 1284 are designed to celebrate the spirit of Oktoberfest as well as highlight positive change in the community.

George Oliver, Managing Director of 1284 Communications, stated: “Oktoberfest brings the Leicester business community together in a unique way.

“Every year, funds raised make a genuine difference for local causes, and 1284 Communications welcomes the opportunity to join in for 2025 and play a small part in supporting that tradition.”
