1284 has been shortlisted for Independent PR Practitioner of the Year against seven other agencies from around the UK.

It comes after Loughborough-based innovation comms specialist 1284 won the Silver Award in the same category in last year’s Midlands PRide Awards.

Director George Oliver Chart.PR MCIPR said: “This will be the last year that 1284 is eligible for the Independent Practitioner category, after Amy joined earlier this month.

“It’s been a busy month for 1284, which started with Amy’s arrival in Week 1, saw her achieve Chartered PR Practitioner status in Week 3, and 1284 shortlisted for this award in Week 4.

“We are now looking forward to meeting the CIPR judging panel next month to talk a bit more about the work we are doing around communicating innovative businesses.”

1284 is a CIPR Chartered agency providing strategic corporate communications to innovative organisations in the East Midlands.
